Whew. I am ready for Easter! We've got an egg hunt at church in the morning, and then, of course, a visit from the Easter Bunny himself on Sunday, and then no more holidays until....Memorial Day? I love a good holiday, and my girls make it SO much fun, but these class parties are wearing me out lately!
__one__ Speaking of class parties, Daniel has been picking the girls up at school the past week or so, and failed to sign us up for the class party. So when I went to pick up the girls Monday, all that was left was sandwiches in Caroline's room and broccoli and carrots in Emmie's. I made the most of it and made the cutest sandwiches using butterfly, bunny, and egg cookie cutters. Caroline was so proud and made sure her whole class knew SHE brought them.
__two__ This kid. She is so sassy and sweet. And she never leaves her stuffed kitty at home.
__three__ Before Toys 'R Us stopped accepting coupons and rewards points, I scored the best finds for the girls Easter baskets. They won't fit in the baskets, but I like to get them one larger item that sits behind their baskets. The t-ball set ended up being around $13. The Toys R' Us website is closed for business now, but Amazon has it at a comparable price.
__four__ I've got eggs boiling right now, and I can't wait to dye them with the girls tomorrow morning. I like to wait until right before Easter to dye eggs, so they are super fresh when I make deviled eggs on Easter. Last year, I used my whisk hack to dye eggs. Instead of using the cheap egg holder that are in the kits, just try a whisk! It's so much easier for my girls to handle and ends up being less messy.
__five__ And my favorite Easter meme...
