How to make extra money with rebates and surveys!

While I detest being called “cheap”, I must admit I take great pride in being frugal.

What does that mean? I still get high quality items, but I refuse to pay full price for pretty much anything. And if I do pay full price, I’ll use gift cards from survey sites to pay for it. 🤣

Here are my favorite sites/apps for saving and making money! Full disclosure - I may get a small referral bonus for some (but not all!) of these sites. I promise I would be sharing these regardless.

Survey Junkie - complete quick surveys on their website or app. They typically run promos where you can earn bonus points if you achieve a certain level of survey completion. I typically earn around $5 per week, which I cash out for Amazon or Target gift cards (you can also cash out for Wal Mart, Starbucks, and more).

Field Agent - Complete "jobs" local to you - these could be taking a picture of a display in a store, or even getting paid for a grocery pickup order. These jobs are not consistent, but when I do get one it's fun and easy and they deposit my earnings in my bank account.

Ibotta - Hands down my absolute favorite grocery rebate app. There are SO many rebates and they update constantly. You can link your grocery account for many grocers, including Target and WalMart so that earning is automatic, or upload a receipt for stores like Publix and Kroger.

Fetch - This is my second favorite grocery rebate app. It's super easy because you earn points for ANY receipt (even fast food, gas, etc!) but get extra points for certain rebate items. What makes it so easy is you don't have to search for the rebates - just upload your receipt and it will identify what qualifies for you. You'll get 2,000 bonus points (equivalent of $2) when you sign up with my link.

ReceiptHog - This one is awesome because it's just points for grocery receipts - doesn't matter what you buy! You'll get 5 free spins when you sign up with my link.

If you end up trying any of these or already have them, let me know how you like them!

Two weeks until Christmas - Kids gift edition

 Affiliate links used in post.

It's two weeks until Christmas, and I'm completely done shopping for the girls!

I'll admit, Christmas shopping isn't terribly difficult for a 2, 5, and 6 year old. Add in the fact they are all the same gender, and it's almost too easy.

First up, some of fun items I got the older girls this Christmas!

I actually gave this to the kids early because I was so excited to play it. It's sooooo much easier (and shorter!) than regular Monopoly, and the kids think they are fancy because there are debit/credit cards! I'd say for anyone 7 and under, this is a great way to play Monopoly without getting super frustrated.

My big girls have recently really gotten into Barbies, and I found the most fun Barbie helicopter (that came in a much bigger box than I was expecting!).

I also decided to get them both a Barbie Color Reveal - I'm guessing it's going to be similar to LOL Surprise dolls which they are also OBSESSED with.

Caroline has been begging and begging us for more Lego sets. I got sick of spending so much money on sets that she didn't want to take apart, so I got her the 1500+ piece classic legos - which hopefully will end up giving her hours of fun.

We love Melissa and Doug toys at our house (amazing quality) and I can't wait to help Caroline and Emmie learn the states with this USA floor puzzle.

For my littlest love, I splurged on a lightning deal for a Bounce house.

It'll either be a super fun activity for all 3, or a sure fire way to send the kids to the emergency room!

What are the top items on your kids lists this year?
